Often it is difficult to describe how our daily lives are affected by climate and environmental issues. It is easy to feel disconnected from our climate. However, climate issues are affecting our lives everyday, such as our health, development and affordability of homes, and even our utility bills.

Our national DART Sponsoring Committee will be leading research meetings to understand many different parts of the climate crisis: sea level rise, pollution, water, food and agriculture, development, clean energy, heat rising, natural disasters.

Increased temperatures and bigger storms continue to force families to make difficult decisions on where to live

Families are forced to migrate due to resource scarcity, increased frequency of extreme weather events, homes destroyed from natural disasters, and more.
