The Lincoln Square House Concert Series is a chance to experience great art and music in an intimate setting – it’s an invitation into one of our homes to hear one of our favorite artists. It’s a great way to meet and welcome our neighbors while supporting excellent local and touring artists.

Our concerts begin at 7p and doors open at 6:45p. The suggested donation is $15 (children are free) and all proceeds go to the artist. Light snacks, beer and wine are provided. To RSVP to a house concert (and get the address for your show), or if you are an artist who would like to be considered as a performer in our series, email Jodee Lewis at jlewis@lincolnsquarepres.org.

Concert Schedule for 2020:

Matt Martino. Saturday, May 30, 7pm

After the 2007 release of his debut album “Let it Shine”, Martino enjoyed a successful and burgeoning career with lots of promise, peaking in the late 2000’s.  “Let it Shine” garnered Grammy attention upon its release, which led to multiple placements in tv and movies, including the CW series 90210.  Matt was awarded the DISCovery award by Music Row Publications and the increased exposure within the industry led to more touring and new releases.

Rachel Zylstra. Saturday, October 10, 7pm

Classically trained on piano and "smoky, sweet and verbose (in the best ways)" (Scoutmob), Rachel Zylstra is a singer-songwriter who turns phrases on themes of longing, uncertainty, God, faith, and finding one’s place.

Raised in the Great Lakes states, RZ moved to New York City in her early 20s, gaining a dedicated following through playing small cozy clubs on the Lower East Side and touring regionally. Over the course of four self-released albums, luscious strings, bass, drums, and harmonies have come to accompany her trademark plaintive alto, fully animating her “piano-based stories that meld old soul and new learning.. stories... of a gorgeous mistake” (No Depression). In early 2016, drawn by a mysterious hunch and desire for adventure, RZ traded a decade of big city striving for a one-way plane ticket - to Scotland - straight into a flourishing new season. 2020 sees the release of RZ’s new long-gestating album of hymns and sacred songs. Catch her touring On Faith later this year.
